Not a big update for you this week as I’ve been really lazy and done next to nothing all week. I’ve sat on the settee reading and generally just chilling out. I didn’t even move for game night but I did get a bit of hobby done.
On the D&D front I managed to survive and I must have been quite drunk the week before as I didn’t remember that I had been stabilised so after spending time with bag full of soil over my head, it’s a long story. They managed to heal me before we got stuck into another big fight were the guy who’s tower we had been investigating cam back to have a word with us and was accompanied by a bunch of Drow. It was a close run thing but we manged to drive them off but we were all in a bad way so we are going to have to rest up a bit before we get into any more trouble.
First up was a big push to get the Genesteeler cult finished and even though I didn’t turn up for game night I did have the models ready. I decided to concentrate on the fact these are gaming models so as long as they look good on the table top I’d be happy. So with that in mind there are lots of little bits that I could have done differently but I’ve not bothered with them as I would just end up going round in circles trying to fix things. So I simply went with the flow and decided that enough was enough and stopped where I was.
The other thing I have been working on was a Lego set I got for my birthday. I’m never likely to own a real Aston Martin DB5 so this is probably as close as I’m going to get. Thousands of pieces and a full day spent sitting on the floor like I kid but by the end of it my back was killing. But it was worth it and I now have a car with machine guns, a bullet proof screen and best of all a working ejector seat.
So only a short update for you this week. I’ve no plans for the week ahead but I’m hoping to get a bit more done
