Now then it’s been a few weeks since my last update but unlike following previous gaps in service I’m not going to apologise for this one. It’s been down to the fact that I’m in new relationship and I’ve been putting my time into that and not the hobby. Well it’s been something of a weird one this week for this weeks weekly waffle. I’m going to start off with the good news that everyone survived our D&D session on Sunday, just. It was essentially part of a battle with an end of level boss and we milked it for all it was worth. Or more accurately we got so much wrong it took forever to finish it. Well were to start for this weeks weekly waffle it’s been another manic week with work and my schedule for next week looks even worse. I’ve got a bit of lightweight update for you this week’s weekly waffle. More traveling for work but this week has seen the end to the worst of the work for this year. I’ve still got lots of travel to contend with but all the really messy and fiddly things that have been keeping me awake are now out of the way. For this weeks weekly waffle I’ve had another week on the road but in a first for this project everything has worked as expected first time. Which has meant that while I’ve still been doing long hours it’s not been that stressful. And the office I’ve been working in this week is about a five minute walk from a Games Workshop store which may or may not have been a good thing. Didn’t get much gaming done on game night for this weeks weekly waffle. Al was full of cold so we just spent some time drinking tea and building up some Mantic terrain and getting confused. It’s a good one for a waffle though. Most to the terrain goes together really easily and is very intuitive but there are some pieces that just don’t seem to make sense. A classic example is that there is a really nice engine / generator piece but one side looks like it isn’t finished or that something else should fit up to it. No game night for this weeks weekly waffle which was something of blessing to be honest. Tuesday was my first day back at work after a couple weeks off and it was manic.
