Weekly Waffle #434 – The Hunter’s Mark
5th September 2026 The Mojo For this week’s weekly waffle I have yet more updates for you on the space wolves kill team. I’ve been making steady progress and it’s in general it’s been a good week. We had a bank holiday here in the UK on the Monday so only four working days. Although it does feel a bit like work are trying get same volume of work out of me over a shorter period. But all in all, it’s not been too bad. Hobby time has felt relaxed because I feel like I have a handle on how to paint these guys now, so it’s been fun. Although…
Weekly Waffle #433 – Rune Priest Skjald, Calling the Storm
29th August 2026 The Mojo Well it’s been an interesting week since the last weekly waffle. I managed to catch up with a friend who I hadn’t seen for way too long. One of those things were work clashes all the time and before you know it months have passed. Anyway a few of us got together to play disk golf and have a chat. Turned out to be really good afternoon. On the hobby front I’ve managed to make good use of the time I’ve had and I’ve got another operative finished for you. And I’ve also managed to do a little bit of prep work that I’m hoping…
Weekly Waffle #432 – Wolf Scout Pack Leader is the One Who Gives the Orders
22nd August 2026 The Mojo For this week’s weekly waffle I’ve been working go the wolf scout pack leader. And I’ve been really enjoying myself. It’s helped that i’ve been off work this week so have had a little bit of extra time to get some hobby in. In between the jobs that have needed doing at home and I’ve been avoiding. But this week has been a good balance. And I’ve even used some of that precious hobby time to set myself up for success in the coming weeks. Getting some more minis prepped so that I can make the most of the hobby time I get over the…
Weekly Waffle #431 – Wolf Scout Trapmaster
8th July 2026 The Mojo For this week’s weekly waffle I have been trying to get myself back into some good habits and I’ve used the Space Wolves Trapmaster to help me. It’s still manic at work and that isn’t going to change any time soon. That means my hobby time is going to be limited and I don’t want to spend what time I do have racing to get some waffle together. I want to spend it painting. So I have been mindful of that and I’ve made myself use the time I have on the train to do the writing. Freeing me up to actually enjoy my hobby…
Weekly Waffle #429 – The Dog That Bites First
1st August 2026 The Mojo I’m trying to use this week’s weekly waffle to get back to a more normal type of service. Although this week has been anything but normal. I’ve spent the first half of the week driving around the UK following a currier as we migrate work date from one data centre to another. Not a very productive week but it gives you lots of time to think about new projects. Although considering how behind I am with my existing projects I’m not sure that is a good idea. But even with all of this travel I have still managed to get some hobby time in so…
Weekly Waffle #428 – Sorry I’ve Been MIA! Cadiz, Work Chaos, and Space Wolf Kitbashing
25th July 2025 The Mojo For this week’s weekly waffle I’m starting with an apology for missing the last two weeks. I’ve managed to go for about 18 months without missing an update but all good things dome to an end. The plan was I was always going to be skipping last week’s update because I was enjoying a short break in Cadiz. Dipping my toes in the Atlantic, eating Tapas and generally relaxing. Bu the plan I was going to inform you all about this break the week before. But that is where things went to pot. I was on my own at work that week, just the way…
Weekly Waffle #407 – The Year of the Brush: A 2025 Weekly Waffle Retrospective
Weekly Waffle #407 – The Year of the Brush: A 2025 Weekly Waffle Retrospective 10th January 2026 Welcome to 2026 and for this week’s TerminatorTids weekly waffle I am going to start the year off with a wrap up of 2025. It’s been a year of soaring highs, questionable paint choices, and a fair bit of “waffling” about everything from the price of plastic to the best way to paint a bird of prey. If 2024 was about finding the mojo, 2025 was the year I allowed it to trickle out across the pitch, the tabletop, and even the skatepark. Pull up a chair, grab a brew, and let’s dive…
Weekly Waffle # 387 – Retrospective Rides
Weekly Waffle # 387 – Retrospective Rides 26th July 2025 For this week’s Weekly Waffle I have spent some time tidying up some previous builds. Not the most interesting of things to do but it’s something that needed doing. It’s also a reminder that in most instances a miniature is never actually finished. You can always come back to it at some point in the future if you want. Granted that most of us never will, even when we may have had that intention at the time of painting. In this case I always knew I needed to revisit these because I hadn’t actually finished them. But it is something…
Weekly Waffle # 386 – The Full Cowabunga
Weekly Waffle # 386 – The Full Cowabunga 19th July 2025 For this week’s Weekly Waffle I have finally got round to finishing my long term Ork project. Or should that just be it’s taken me a long term to complete my Ork project. After all it’s not like I’ve painted up a full six thousand point from scratch. In fact at the rate I’m currently painting I wouldn’t be finished before the heat death of the universe. But it is finished so I’m going to share it with you, and I also have a small update on the paintRack app that talked about last week. In fact I’m going…
Weekly Waffle # 385 – Last Boy
Weekly Waffle # 385 – Last Boy 12th July 2025 For this week’s Weekly Waffle I have a combination of technical waffle and hobby update. There was no update last week because I had a week off work with the wife and spent the time relaxing. A mix of sunny and rainy days so we made the most of the sunny days with day trips. And the relaxed with a couple of box sets on the rainy days. All very nice and helped to recharge the batteries a little. Then it was back in to manic week at work. I do have some hobby updates for you a little later…
