I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with an apology for not bringing you an update last week. I’d like to say that it was I involved in some secret invitation only special event but the reality is that life just go in the way. I’d been busy at work, spending a bit more time at the gym and I had to do quite a bit of travel for work so I simply didn’t get round to doing and anything. And I didn’t get home until late on Friday night and just didn’t have anything to right about so I ended up just missing the update.
Now I was hoping to have a bit of bumper update for you this week but I’m going to let you down early and say that I’ve not got a lot done this week. It’s essentially be a re-run of last week except this time I’ve made the effort to al least bring you something. However short it may be. On the gaming front we haven’t managed to get any more D&D sessions in and it’s looking like we aren’t going to get one in this week so I’ll have to wait to see if get my wits back. Other than that we had gaming night on Tuesday where there was a game of kill time going on along with some shadespire. Quite a few of us are looking at getting into it as just about everything you need comes in one box so it’s not a lot of painting to get something on the table. I’m looking at the dwarf prospectors simply because I like the look of the models.
On the hobby front I’ve managed to get a bit of work done on the base form my Titan with everything built and primed. Now I know it’s only a base but when you haven’t got much of anything else done I’m taking this as a win this week.
I’ve also managed to make a start on the legs for the Titan. Granted I’ve not done much more that make a start on them but I’m working on small margins at the moment so everything I can get done is a bonus. It’s basically just keeping me ticking over until I get back into the flow and crack on with some real work.
So that’s it for this week. I know it’s a only a short update but the truth is I just haven’t got a lot done. I’m hoping I’ll get back into the flow and will have more for you next week. Until then I hope you have a great week and I’ll catch you all again next time.
