So this this week I’ve not done anything with the site. For the most part I’m happy with how things are working, although there are couple of things that I need to fix. As soon as I know how to. Galleries are still something I’m playing with but I think the ones that are there at the moment will do until I can finalise what I’m looking for.
Also this week was the release, or pre-order of Angel Giraldez Masterclass book, and being an Infinity fan I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately I wasn’t one of the lucky ones who managed to get hold of a copy. To say that I was disappointed would be a bit of an understatement but that’s just how it is. I’m still hoping that having seen how well it sold, I believe it sold out in something like 30 seconds, he may decide to do a second print run at some time in the future.
Now having been looking forward to it I started looking around to see if there were any other good books out there. I didn’t find anything that I really liked but I did come across ‘Figure Painter’ magazine. This is an e-zine and I have go a few copies and have been really impressed with it. It has a nice range of material with tutorials, reviews and general inspiration. I’m definitely going to keep getting and it’s already inspired me to do a future project.
On the modelling front I’ve been carrying on building up my Infinity Haqqislam force with a box set of Hassassin Muyibs. These are Light Infantry in the game and I’ve now got just about all the different weapon options available to them.
I’ve also indulged one of my other passions and I’ve got myself some dice just for my Haqqislam. I don’t know why but I just like to have dice for my different armies, it’s one of those things that just adds a little more to my gaming experience.
So for next week I’m going to be continuing the Infinity theme with a box of Sekban (Naval Special Unit) who are Medium Infantry. And that’s it for this week.
