I managed to get some gaming in for this week’s weekly waffle. Well I say gaming I actually got a pasting but I’ll get onto that in a minute. Also introduced someone else to the joys of Guild Ball, had a trip to the sea side and got a bit more painting done. After last week’s weekly waffle bumper edition this week was always to going to be a challenge. There was no game night this so that rules out any gaming updates I might have been able to bring you. On top of that as I mentioned last week I’ve had to spend some time in Newcastle so that could have thrown a spanner in the works. This week’s weekly waffle has continued the roller coaster of hobby ups and downs. At work on Tuesday morning to be told that I need to go to Newcastle for three days, nothing wrong with that but it puts a dent in my painting time. So what I have I been up to for this week’s weekly waffle, the simple answer to that is not a lot, but I do have a few updates for you. Not a great deal to update you on this week’s weekly waffle so I’m going to cheat and add in lots of pictures. No game club again this week so no gaming to update you and I haven’t been able to get any work done on the brewers this week. This week’s weekly waffle has been something of roller coster for my on the hobby front. I finally started to get my mojo back for painting but had had to spend a couple of day up in Newcastle for work. Then on the way back my right eye started to feel really sore and by Thursday morning I it felt like I had a piece of chopped chilli trapped under my eyelid, which I wouldn’t recommend. I think this weeks weekly waffle is going to be a true waffle. I’ve not really got my mojo back after feeling a bit under the weather last week so that’s slowed me down at. Then just to top things off my washing machine decided to die on me at the start of the week. It has literally shaken itself to pieces, which on the plus side has given me some interesting parts to use in some future scratch builds. Well after last week’s bumper weekly waffle I’m afraid this week may be something of a disappointment. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather all week so haven’t got very much done. I missed game night on this week because I was feeling sorry for myself and couldn’t be bothered to move. Gaming for this week’s weekly waffle actually started on Sunday morning with a five way game of X-Wing. Apparently I must have done something wrong because I had to start in the middle of the table with everyone gunning for me. It was a fifty point game so I went with a YT-2400, there were three Fire Sprays and one Decimator. My tactic was to stay out of the way and let the others beat themselves up, then sweep in for the kill, and for a change it worked.
