Well I’ve still not managed to shake off the hobby blues although game night was back on for this week’s weekly waffle. Me and Al had arranged to have a game of Wild West Exodus but that went a bit astray. He’s got the rules through for the tournament he has entered at Adepticon so he wanted to play with these rules. I think I’m still suffering from something of a new year hobby hangover and haven’t managed to get a great deal done this week’s weekly waffle. In my defence I have been suffering from man flue and have spent most of the week curled up in my chair with a cup of tea and a chocolate hobnob or five. The Road to Adepticon #3
So another Adepticon update for you this week. With the accommodation and tickets already sorted the only thing we needed to finalise was the flights. Now I have to be honest here I didn’t put myself forward to sort this out but Darren did, and after much toing and froing trying to keep us all happy the flights are now booked. It’s really weird but it hasn’t felt quite real until now. I suppose there’s nothing like handing over a wedge of cash to make things feel real. No gaming this week with everyone having other commitments but I did spend some time with Al helping him to resolve some issues he had at home in his cellar were we game. For this week’s weekly waffle we have been planning and at the weekend a few of us came up with a plan for next year. Nothing special just a way to try and get a few more games in. So we’ve decided that January is going to be Wild West Exodus month, followed by Malifaux in February and then something new for March with Frost Grave. No game night for this week’s weekly waffle but as I posted during the week I did spend Tuesday morning sat in front of the computer trying to book tickets for Adepticon next year.
