The Mojo

I’ve been back at work this week but I’ve not let that get me down. It’s amazing how many e-mails people seem to send saying the world will end if you don’t respond immediately. Then you get in touch with them once your back and everything has just magically resolved itself.

The mojo is still here and this week brings my Gritty Groups up to fill strength so I will be moving onto something new next week. Although at the moment I’m not sure exactly what that is going to be. But I’ve narrowed it down to either Trench Crusade or Carnivale.

On The Work Bench

I’ve been working on Grim Ironjaw this week as the last special character who is going to wrap up my Gritty Gumps list. Or at least until GW came out with something new for me.

Once again most of this week has been the same as the last few weeks but what i’ve really tried to work on with this guy has been the flesh tones. I watch some you tube a while ago and one of the things they were saying was about pushing the highlights. Basically saying once you think you have gone as high as you think you should. Go one more step. Which is what I’ve done here.

I used some of my Foundry paints trios as my guide and then once I through I had it right I took that next step. And I really like how it has turned out. Especially because I’ve then gone back in with a purple / red wash to try and add some rich undertones. But what do you think?
