It’s been another disappointing hobby week for me again for this weeks weekly waffle but this time I’m blaming it firmly on the Scottish. So with me being away for the last two weeks now I’ve not had any time for any hobby at all this week but I still wanted to bring you what I hope is a bit of light hearted reading on this Saturdays weekly waffle. No gaming for this weeks weekly waffle and no real hobby time. The only thing I’ve had chance to build has been some new desk top storage curtesy of Hobby Zone. I’ve already got a few drawers and a display / storage case so when I was having a bit of reshuffle and clearing out some old paints I decided to pick up a few more pieces. If anyone out there is looking for a modular storage solution I can highly recommend them as the ones I’ve had to date have served me well hence me going out to buy some more. So I’ve been back on the road again this week and haven’t really had a lot of time to get anything done for the weekly waffle and once again no gaming. With it being a bank holiday last weekend I was hoping to get some hobby time in but I spent most of t it tidying up the garden and trying to get my car to work. The first I did a really good job of and the second I failed miserably. These weekly waffle updates are beginning to feel a bit like ground hog day with no game night because I’ve been on the road all week. So once again it’s been a week when I haven’t been able to any gaming in for the weekly waffle but have managed to watch a let’s play for Shadow Games which a board game set in the world of Guild Ball. Well were to start for this weeks weekly waffle, as I mentioned last week I know work was going to start to get a bit manic but I didn’t know it would start as soon as it did. I missed game night this week because I’ve been on the road all week. It’s also meant that I’ve not go very much done this week, just a few hours to work on some Death Watch. For this week’s weekly waffle there was no game night again so a chance to make a start on a new project, or really an extension of what I’ve already been working. I’ve really enjoyed painting up the Deathwatch Kill Team so I decided to carry on and picked up the Deathwatch Cassius Kill Team. I’ve liked these models since the boxed game came out so being able to pick them up as a set of models without the game is great business idea for GW. No game night for this week’s weekly waffle so in theory I’ve had some more time to get some painting in. In reality that’s not turned out quite how I thought it would. Whilst I’ve been working on finishing off my Deathwatch I’ve also started watching Falling Skys on Netflix so I haven’t got as much painting done as I planned. But I have finished watching season one and cracking on with season two at the moment.
