    It’s been a bit of a mad week for me this week and I’ve been traveling up and down the country for work so not big weekly waffle. So lots of time spent on the train but not a lot of time on hobby. Having said then I have managed to start a new project and I think I’ve got off to a good start. With all the Guild ball stuff I’ve been doing of late I felt like I needed a bit of change with the new quick play rules now out for Dystopian Wars I decided to try something new.     It’s been a couple of weeks now but I managed to make it to games night for this week’s weekly waffle, although I did turn up late so I didn’t manage to get a game in. But we did have an interesting chat about the future of the 40K. We were saying that whilst it was 40K that got us into gaming not of us have played a game of 40K in a long time.     In some wired Doctor Who theme this week’s weekly waffle actually starts before last week’s update was posted with the Vengeance 2016 Guild Ball event.     To start off this week’s weekly waffle I have two game updates for you. Me and Al got together on Saturday for a re-match between his Union and my Butchers. To be honest from my point of view I wish we hadn’t bothered because I got an absolute tubing. The score ended up being 12 – 2 to the Union. For me it went wrong from the kick-off with getting players in the wrong position, then the dice gods deserted me and I never recovered. At one point I was rolling seven dice needing two three up’s, and got none. On the positive side of things it was a win…

    There was no game night on Tuesday for this week’s weekly waffle but me and Al did manage to finish off our Guild Ball on Sunday with the Butchers running out winners with a score of 12 to 8. It was a really fun game and showed that we really need the practice before we turn up Vengeance next month. I think that Al suffered from using the Union or at least his selection of players that didn’t seem to work well as a team. Whilst I opted to go with the Butchers to try and keep things simple.
