Ok I’m making it official, I’ve lost my mojo and it’s impacting more that just the weekly waffle. I just don’t know where it is has gone at the moment. I’ve probably spent more time staring blankly at projects this week than I have with brush in hand. I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with a gaming update from what turned out be an epic D&D session on Sunday. For some time now we have been building up to what could be a party ending encounter. An evil cabal have a continent spanning ritual underway and we are trying to stop it and dispatch the necromancer responsible. We’ve hand an encounter with him before and knew it would take all our combined skills to stand a chance of taking him down. Gaming for this weeks weekly waffle has been a D&D session last Sunday which was a really good role playing session rather than a fighting session, or at least that’s how it started. From my perspective I got the chance to really get into the bard side of my character telling stories in the tavern and using a bit of magic to get the smoke from my pipe bring the stories to life. I’ve had something of a revelation for this weekly waffle, well revelation is a bit strong but as I’ve been off work this week I’ve realised just how much work I do for the waffle each week on the commute.
