Now then it’s been a few weeks since my last update but unlike following previous gaps in service I’m not going to apologise for this one. It’s been down to the fact that I’m in new relationship and I’ve been putting my time into that and not the hobby. A slow but enjoyable week this week. It started, or more accurately last week ended, with our first D&D session for what feels like an age. Things were a bit slow to start with whilst we were getting back in to the groove and having lost two characters last time out there were a couple of new characters to be introduced to the party. Things started quite well for use with a clear objective in front of us and our decision making was made simple because we were up against a hard deadline so had to keep things moving. It seems like I’ve done quite a lot apologising of late and I’m going to start this week with another for not doing any updates for a few weeks. I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with an apology because this is going to be a woeful update I’m afraid. A combination of extreme loss of mojo coupled with going back to work after two weeks off has turned into the perfect storm of hobby lethargy. I can honestly say that this week I haven’t picked up a paint brush, although I have looked at a few, or rolled a dice in anger. Well I missed the weekly waffle update last week but in my defence it was a significant birthday for me having survived to the half century mark so I was out with friends and the update just got forgotten about. Not that I have much of an update from the last two weeks but I didn’t’ want to skip another week. I’ve had a bit of a break this week to try and recharge my batteries ahead of a final push to finish off the Warlord in a few weeks so it’s quite a short weekly waffle. It’s been an interesting week this week and I can say that for this weeks weekly waffle at least the mojo seems to have returned. Gamming for this weeks weekly waffle has been limited to a bit of disrupted but very enjoyable D&D session. No one got killed, a first for us in quite a while, we made a bit of money, spent a bit of money and have now set our path firmly on a new quest that will probably see our DM do all she can to kill us.
