Well it’s been something of a weird one this week for this weeks weekly waffle. I’m going to start off with the good news that everyone survived our D&D session on Sunday, just. It was essentially part of a battle with an end of level boss and we milked it for all it was worth. Or more accurately we got so much wrong it took forever to finish it. This week weekly waffle I’m putting down as a really good hobby week. Not necessarily a really productive one but I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve done with none of it feeling like a chore. I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with a gaming update from what turned out be an epic D&D session on Sunday. For some time now we have been building up to what could be a party ending encounter. An evil cabal have a continent spanning ritual underway and we are trying to stop it and dispatch the necromancer responsible. We’ve hand an encounter with him before and knew it would take all our combined skills to stand a chance of taking him down. No gaming for me this weeks weekly waffle with no D&D session and me missing game night because of work commitments. Although on a positive note I shouldn’t have any evening work now for a while so should be ok for next week and I might feel a little bit more alive and wanting to get some painting done. Gaming for this weeks weekly waffle has been a D&D session last Sunday which was a really good role playing session rather than a fighting session, or at least that’s how it started. From my perspective I got the chance to really get into the bard side of my character telling stories in the tavern and using a bit of magic to get the smoke from my pipe bring the stories to life. It’s been a really productive week for me this this week but unfortunately I don’t actually have a lot of things that I can share with you for the weekly waffle because they are unsubstantial. I’m going to start this week’s weekly waffle with an update on our one shot D&D adventure from last Saturday. A big thanks has to go out to our DM for organising everything and running a really fun session. It was set in the same world and at the same time as our main adventure but was nothing to with what our other characters are getting up to.
