It’s been a more productive week for this weeks weekly waffle although Sunday was an absolute disaster. Having not had a beer for eight weeks I went out on Saturday night and suffered for it on Sunday. I’m just got to accept the fact than I’m old and it takes me a long time to recover. But I’ve managed to make some progress this week and I’ve actually enjoyed my hobby time, which should be the main reason for doing it. It’s been something of a slow week this week for the weekly waffle and I’m putting it down to having joined the gym. Not an opening line you would expect to see in a hobby blog but as this is a waffle and it’s my site I can do what I want. Well Adepticon feels like a dim and distant memory now and the world has slotted everything back into place as if the trip never actually happened. So that’s the post-holiday blues out of the way and everything is back to normal. Although the mojo is still up and I’m working on getting some hobby time in every day, even if it’s only ten minutes. I’ve been a bit more organised for this weeks weekly waffle and stolen a bit of time throughout the week to put this week’s update together. For this week’s weekly waffle with the Adepticon tickets booked my mojo has started to return although I’ve not actually picked up a paint brush for some time, with the exception of the one I use for my MekPack. I have however been working away on the grot bot project which has sort of taken on a life of its own. It’s no longer a simple case of building some new grot bots but has turned into some other weird grot creation. More of a grot bot mark 2, bigger, faster, stronger sort of thing. It’s been a real mixed bag for this week’s weekly waffle, I think I’ve finally manage to shake this cold that I’ve had for the last few weeks and have felt more human than I have in quite a while.
