Weekly Waffle #328 – If no one else can help you.

Weekly Waffle #328 – If no one else can help you. 13th April 2024 For this week’s weekly waffle if you are of a certain age the tag line, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team will tell you nearly everything you need to know. I used to love the show and even liked the remake film. There is just something I find entertaining about the whole thing. So when this min came out I knew I had to have it my collection. But just what is it. Here we have another creation from the Mechs over at Puppets…

Weekly Waffle #327 – The Captive Unleashed

Weekly Waffle #327 – The Captive Unleashed 6th April 2024 This week’s Weekly Waffle feels a bit of a come down after the last couple of weeks. As I mentioned last week I’ve come back with lots of new projects and I’m hoping some new skills. So it’s time to start making some use of those skills. I’ve not started any of my new purchases yet because I wanted to carry on working through some of my existing backlog that I had planned before going to Addepticon. But don’t worry the new stuff won’t stay on the shelf for long I just need to clear away a couple of these…

  • Weekly Waffle #326 – That’s a Wrap for another year.

Weekly Waffle #326 – That’s a Wrap for another year. 30th March 2024 Well that has been a very full on few days. I’m going to start with a bit of an apology for not doing more updates whilst I was away. But I’m my defence I was enjoying myself and just didn’t sit down to write up an update each day. Then once I had missed a few days it was just too much of a job to catch up. So with that out of the way what do I have for you today. Well for a starter I have a lot of pictures. I have done something of…

    Adepticon Update #3

Adepticon Update #3 I now have my first full day under my belt and I have to say I’m really enjoying the whole experience. When we were here just after Covid everything felt a little subdued but this year feels like it is back to normal. I had a full on day of seminars yesterday and feel like I have learned a lot but I will have to actually put that into practice once I get home. It’s easy to sit through a class up it’s a whole other thing to put it into practice. In the evening we had a few beers before going to the Trapped Under Plastic…

    Adepticon Update #2

Adepticon Update #2 Ok then so this one is only going to b e a short update because it’s only covering arriving at the venue and spending a lot of time in queues of one form or another. The thing I like the least about the whole Adepticon experience is the queueing to get your ticket. It has to be done so for me it is better to get it out of the way as soon as possible. Which meant on Wednesday evening before the games workshop preview event. It took about an hour and half all told to work our way through the queue and pick up our badge,…

Weekly Waffle #320 – No one expects the Inquisition

Weekly Waffle #320 10th February 2024 I’m back with another weekly waffle again this week after my planned break last weekend. And what a weekend it was. I know it’s not hobby related but this is also a waffle so I think a quick update is fitting. After all life should have a bit of variety if you can get it. What a fantastic weekend it was. I have never been to Rome before and taking in a six nations game at the same time has just been the icing on the cake. It has been an absolutely full on three days with a visit to the Vatican museum first…
