Well it’s been something of a weird one this week for this weeks weekly waffle. I’m going to start off with the good news that everyone survived our D&D session on Sunday, just. It was essentially part of a battle with an end of level boss and we milked it for all it was worth. Or more accurately we got so much wrong it took forever to finish it. This week weekly waffle I’m putting down as a really good hobby week. Not necessarily a really productive one but I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve done with none of it feeling like a chore. I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with a gaming update from what turned out be an epic D&D session on Sunday. For some time now we have been building up to what could be a party ending encounter. An evil cabal have a continent spanning ritual underway and we are trying to stop it and dispatch the necromancer responsible. We’ve hand an encounter with him before and knew it would take all our combined skills to stand a chance of taking him down. I’ve had something of a revelation for this weekly waffle, well revelation is a bit strong but as I’ve been off work this week I’ve realised just how much work I do for the waffle each week on the commute. For this weeks weekly waffle there was no gaming of any sort this week as we as we had to cancel our D&D session on Sunday. But it’s not all bad news as the extra time allowed me to finish the albatross around my neck that the warboss was becoming.
