No gaming for me this week as it was mum’s birthday on Tuesday which is normally game night, and we went out for a family mean instead. Which was a really nice night so not a bad thing to doing in place of a bit of gaming. I’ve spent most of this week feeling sorry for myself as I’ve got a cold, with the corresponding runny nose which is just really annoying. The best laid plans of mice and men springs to mind to open this week’s waffle. My intention for the week was to make a start on the Grot Bots and also to work out if I had enough material to actually build them all and if not get it ordered. Now then it’s been a few weeks since my last update but unlike following previous gaps in service I’m not going to apologise for this one. A slow but enjoyable week this week. It started, or more accurately last week ended, with our first D&D session for what feels like an age. Things were a bit slow to start with whilst we were getting back in to the groove and having lost two characters last time out there were a couple of new characters to be introduced to the party. It’s only going to be a short weekly waffle today as I’ve been mad busy at work this week. As I mentioned last week are advertising lots of jobs at work which has meant that for most of the week I’ve either been helping my team write up their applications or shortlisting other applications.
