No gaming for me this week as it was mum’s birthday on Tuesday which is normally game night, and we went out for a family mean instead. Which was a really nice night so not a bad thing to doing in place of a bit of gaming. That was on the back of having a very loved up weekend where I did no gaming and no hobby but did have a really nice time. I’m going to start off this week’s weekly waffle with a controversial subject that is nothing to do with gaming. It’s to do with a famous drink that I don’t particularly like. But everyone says you have to try it in Ireland because that’s where it’s from and it tastes much better. So having spent this week in Belfast I’ve made the trip to the Crow and had a pint of the black stuff but here’s where I get really controversial. I wasn’t impressed. No game night for this week’s weekly waffle so it gave me a bit more hobby time but I don’t know if this is a good thing or not. With the ‘Special Brew Challenge’ looming in the background I haven’t picked up a paint brush this week. Instead I’ve gone back to a bit of scratch building and started work on my ‘Grot Stompa’ again. It’s been a bit of strange week for this week’s weekly waffle . For as long as I can remember our gaming club night has been on a Wednesday night. But things change and we’ve had to move it to a Tuesday, nothing drastic in that but it’s become such a routine for me that I’ve been all over the place this week with the move. I guess it really is hard to teach an old dog a new trick. But I’m sure I’ll get used to in. So what did I manage to do this week?
