The best laid plans of mice and men springs to mind to open this week’s waffle. My intention for the week was to make a start on the Grot Bots and also to work out if I had enough material to actually build them all and if not get it ordered. I knew I shouldn’t need anything to fancy, just plastic tubing and box section of the right size to make the job that bit easier. Well that was the plan but reality has been very different this week. Well it’s been a really disappointing week for this week’s weekly waffle. I don’t know why but I’ve just not managed to get anything done despite having quite of bit of time on my hands. In my defence I’ve been reading ‘The Dwarves’ by Markus Heitz which was a bit boring to start off with but has now really started to pick. The result has been me sitting there reading as opposed to getting on with some painting. Where to start for this week’s weekly waffle. I’ll think I’ll kick things off with a bit of look into the future and since the debacle of not being able to book a room at the venue for Adepticon next year I’ve been keeping an eye on the site, checking every day, waiting for the registration to open. The dates are now up with the preview due to be live on Friday the 3rd of November and booking going live on Friday 17th of November.
