I’m going to start this week’s weekly waffle with an update on our one shot D&D adventure from last Saturday. A big thanks has to go out to our DM for organising everything and running a really fun session. It was set in the same world and at the same time as our main adventure but was nothing to with what our other characters are getting up to. That made it easy to fit into the environment and the adventure flowed from there. No D&D adventure update for you this week’s weekly waffle but we do have a session planned for tonight so I’ll something for you on that front next week. But having painted up the dwarves last week I’ve got the bug for painting more characters at the expense of the kill team not making much progress. First full week of the year and it’s been a bit quiet. I’m going to kick off this weeks weekly waffle with something that’s been missing for the last few weeks and that is a gaming update. You heard it I actually managed to get some gaming in this week. Not a big update for you in this week’s weekly waffle. As I mentioned last week it was a friends birthday last Saturday and it was a really good night. The hobby result of that was that I wasn’t in the best of conditions on Sunday to get much painting completed. It’s not been the best of weekly waffle for hobby time this week. We have a change freeze at work over the Christmas period so everyone is clamouring to get things done before that kicks in. Bicentenary edition of the weekly waffle today and to be honest with you when I started this I didn’t even think that I would still be turning out content, albeit in limited volume, nearly four years later.
