It’s been an interesting week this week and I can say that for this weeks weekly waffle at least the mojo seems to have returned. Gamming for this weeks weekly waffle has been limited to a bit of disrupted but very enjoyable D&D session. No one got killed, a first for us in quite a while, we made a bit of money, spent a bit of money and have now set our path firmly on a new quest that will probably see our DM do all she can to kill us. I’m going to start this weekly waffle with a tale of woe that I’m also letting double up as the reason I haven’t done as much work as I should. So what is the catastrophe that has befallen me this week. Ok I’m making it official, I’ve lost my mojo and it’s impacting more that just the weekly waffle. I just don’t know where it is has gone at the moment. I’ve probably spent more time staring blankly at projects this week than I have with brush in hand. Well it’s been something of a weird one this week for this weeks weekly waffle. I’m going to start off with the good news that everyone survived our D&D session on Sunday, just. It was essentially part of a battle with an end of level boss and we milked it for all it was worth. Or more accurately we got so much wrong it took forever to finish it. I’m going to start this weeks weekly waffle with a gaming update from what turned out be an epic D&D session on Sunday. For some time now we have been building up to what could be a party ending encounter. An evil cabal have a continent spanning ritual underway and we are trying to stop it and dispatch the necromancer responsible. We’ve hand an encounter with him before and knew it would take all our combined skills to stand a chance of taking him down. No gaming for me this weeks weekly waffle with no D&D session and me missing game night because of work commitments.
