Day Four: Sunday 27th March 2022
Well my day four didn’t go quite as planned today after having had a couple more Fire Ball whiskies than was probably wise last night. So I didn’t get up until late this morning and completely messed up the time of the kill team live event. So I didn’t get chance to actually get a game but we I did get a chance to have a look around the room where it was being run. And a chance to have a bit of a play which was fun. The Imperial guard have single shot weapons which are accurate whilst the ork shooters are full on spray and pray. That is way the irks have more firepower but the guard are more accurate which is what balances up the game.
Sunday at the con is something of a wind down day. I spent some time back in the vendor hall and picked up an Arena Rex mini just for the painting challenge along with some FreeBlade minis that I just thought were cool. My plan is to use them to practice some of the new skills I’ve learned this week.
And that’s a wrap for 2022. I didn’t stop around for the Golden Deamon presentation mainly because I’d seen the entries in the cabinet and everything would be on line soon. Although if we come back in 2024 then I’ve got a few ideas for an entry myself. Not that I think I can do well, just to have a go.
Tonight’s plan is to head back to the tavern for a few farewell beers and because I haven’t had one this trip I’m going to have a burger tonight. That should give this enough time to update. Then once later next week when I’m back home I’ll get all my pictures uploaded and shared with you.
